SERVING THE BOYS & GIRLS OF STANHOPE & NETCONG NEW JERSEY

Content

The fields of Lakeland Little League are owned by the league. Maintenance and upkeep of our fields is supported solely by the volunteers of our organization. Our goal is to continue to provide our children with safe playing field facilities for all baseball and softball activities. Along with our annual clean up days where all parents are expected to attend, we want to establish a field maintenance subcommittee of the Lakeland Little League Board to support ongoing maintenance of our facilities. Effectively maintaining the field facilities requires participation of volunteers and enables us not to further surcharge registration fees.   Please contact our President Manny Ramirez [email protected] if you are interested in working on this committee.   We thank all of our volunteers for their time and assistance with our field facilities.

In an effort to help maintain the fields we ask ALL parents to please participate in keeping the field clean. It can be as simple as if you are walking past a piece of litter, pick it up and throw it in a trash can, or making sure your children use the garbage cans.

After every game we ask if a parent can empty the garbage can into the dumpster and return it to the field to help minimize the amount of litter throughout the field. We have made some wonderful improvements to the fields and would like to keep them looking that way.

ANY AND ALL HELP IS NEEDED AND APPRECIATED!

Please, if you are unsure how you can help just ask! If you see someone working ask them if they need help and what you can do. It is a great way to meet people and the success of our porogram depends on the help of Volunteers

These major improvements will benefit the children in the Lakeland Little League program for years to come.
